Lock N Roll Vs Max Coupler

Do you really need a multi axis coupler like a max coupler or lock n roll or like me you will look back later and say it wasn t necessary but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I have an off road camper and looking to change out the hitch. Yes the lock n roll articulating hitch for 2 receivers 336vs511 does need the trailer to have a matching lock n roll coupler. The good news is that it allows a wide range of motion arguably making it better than a ball hitch for off road towing on uneven terrain but each of those pivot points seems like it d be more prone to wear than a ball and coupler.
