The sound quality is passable at best can be described as fuzzy perhaps this was how the original lp sounded. The vinyl is super quiet with a low noise floor. It was the final album recorded by the original funkadelic lineup.

Unfortunately this lp has so many pops crackles skips and general noise on it that my original been thru the ringer 1970s copy actually sounds better. Discussion i saw on discogs there were many pressings in 1971 when the lp was released especially in different countries also color variants. Is there a bassier cd pressing out there. It was produced by band leader george clinton and recorded at united sound systems in detroit during late 1970 and early 1971. It was back in 1990 something at work volume cranked up by a co worker to near hallucination inducing volumes.
